Fred is one of Artist Boat’s resident animal ambassadors.  Visitors are thrilled to see him roaming the grounds or perched in a tree, treehouse or rear deck. Fred is the first to alert everyone when there is a shift in schedule after-hours. Peacocks shed their iconic plumage—also referred to as a train—naturally after mating season is over, which allows our campers a chance to find the shedded feathers during their time at Artist Boat. A fresh train is grown in time for the next season.
