Gulf Coast Environmental Education Center

Artist Boat’s goal is to preserve 1,400 acres from beach to bay in the Coastal Heritage Preserve and establish the Gulf Coast Environmental Education Center. The Center will be a world-class facility where students can come for the day or for a weeklong summer camp to experientially learn about and protect our fragile coastal ecosystems. In addition, the Center will be a training program for non-formal and formal educators to learn best practices in environmental education and the strategies to integrate art and science.
